WordPress Nested Comments or the @Reply Plugin?

Wordpress Nested Comments or the @Reply Plugin?

As a matter of pure curiosity and also because I’m not one hundred percent positive I intend on keeping this feature, I wanted to know which you all prefer the native nested comments which WordPress has or the @Reply plugin I had utilized prior? Why?

On another note, I think it’s time for me to go to sleep. It’s 6:07 in the morning and I cannot even begin to fathom why I am still awake. I have this feeling though that I won’t be able to fall asleep as easily as I’d like, so I may have to indulge in B.O.B1 for some assistance. G’nite!

From a purely design aspect, I’m all for the @reply plugin. I can never figure out how to make my comments look uber spiffy when using the nested feature. I really should force myself to build a bridge and get over it one of these days, lol.

It is a bit difficult, I’m not going to lie. I was able to find a site that broke down the css if you’re interested: http://bavotasan.com/tutorials/how-to-add-nested-comments-to-your-wordpress-theme/

I’m still obviously learning, given that I’m relearning CSS, but hey it’s a start! Lol.

Im going to go with Jenn on this one now. Even with knowing how to style the quoted comments, I just didn’t like the way it looked. So I’m also going with @Reply. It’s simple and to the point.

I like the @reply for most sites. Even though I understand the CSS, I have NEVER seen nested comments that really impress my design tastes and why else would you use them if not to impress me? d= I kid about impressing me but I do think that nested comments seemed more useful before I realized that it’s really hard to make them look really good and, to me, the purpose of nesting them would be visual.
.-= cole´s last blog ..I like some things.. simple =-.

Hehehe! There is one site that I really liked the way she coded them: http://www.diana.nu — though I’m not sure how many levels that goes!

@Reply’s pretty nifty, I like the simplicity of it :) I’m going with everyone’s decision! But of course it’s still gonna be your final call, Angel :)

I like the @reply so much more. I think that it looks neater, personally.
