Ten Things That Went Wrong Thursday

Okay so today was a pretty crappy day. I should have figured it would be given the night I had last night, but I was hoping that despite the issues I had been having, things would get better. I was wrong. Horribly, terribly wrong. Prepare yourself for the day from hell and the sad part? It’s not even close to over yet. Fuck my life. *facepalm*

1. Getting up this morning was a fight. I had to drag myself out of bed and into the shower.
2. My legs were in so much pain from lugging my new desk upstairs that I had to skip walking the dogs.
3. About two hours after getting up I decided that I needed to take a nap. I knew it was a bad idea, but I did it anyway.
4. I woke up an hour and a half later and was bitchy and grumpy. This is what happens when I take naps. I knew it was going to happen, but I ignored my better judgment. FML.
5. When I tried to log into work, my lappie wasn’t connecting to the internet.
6. I restarted my laptop and then it refused to load up. It was stuck on the boot screen for ages. Talk about a panic attack.
7. Realizing that my laptop might have finally died, I attempted to locate my other work CD and couldn’t find it, thus working on Robby’s computer was not an option.
8. I finally decided to change out the cat 5 cable that had my lappie wired into the router which worked. Too bad I was 20 minutes late for work. I’m NEVER late for work.
9. Shortly after logging into work, my phone decided to act up and refused to work properly. That was another two minutes spent of restarting the phone application.
10. My lover didn’t wake up from her nap until 2ish. By that point I only had an hour left of my shift which you know, defeated the purpose of her keeping me company.

Let’s pray that next Thursday isn’t so catastrophic. I’m not holding my breath, but I least I can hold out some hope. Right?!
