Pros & Cons of Going to School Online

May 31, 2010
pros-cons-of-going-to-school-online

I’ve been in school for a year now and I have to say that I just wish it was over. Sure, it’s weird when I take a break and I feel like I have stuff due because I’m so used to it, but at the same time I miss not having to worry about any of that stuff. Sadly, I still have 3 more years to go and I can only hope that it fails by quickly, though I’m not holding my breath.

In any event, the one great benefit about going to school online is that I don’t have to worry about purchasing books or sell textbooks that I no longer need. I don’t know how many people I have met who constantly complain about how expensive their books are and that they were only able to sell them back for a lot less than what they paid. I don’t know about anyone else but that would drive me nuts. Regardless though to each their own and while I enjoy not having to worry about paying for textbooks or worrying about trying to re-sell them, others can enjoy their spring and summer break which is something that I don’t ever have.

Hmm, maybe I am the one with the short end of the stick after all.
