Safe or Dangerous? You Be The Judge.
May 31, 2010One of the diets on the market right now and one which others have claimed actually works is the hgh diet. The diet itself is based off of daily HGH injections and a very specific diet in which only a few calories can be eaten per day. Now, I’ve heard a lot of this diet from my neighbors who claim that it does work, however are there potential health risk to be concerned about?
While risks are still being assessed some medical professionals feel that it can promote cancer growth and put individuals at risks for other diseases such as high blood pressure, carpal tunnel, joint pain and insulin resistance. Despite the fact that none of these have been researched enough to determine they are caused by the HGH diet, is losing the weight really worth it? In my eyes, no. I have never been a fan of short cuts with dieting and think the best, safest way to go about losing weight (minus those who obviously have medical reasons for not having the capability to do so) is to do so through a proper diet and exercise. There’s just no telling what possible health risks can be associated with the diet fads on the market or what complications could ensue in the future.

That diet really does sound dangerous. I completely agree with you that the safest way is to eat less healthier food, and exercise more. I have a few friends who have gone on ‘fad’ diets like this, then as soon as they start eating normal again the weight piles back on.
