It Feels Good To Have Something Else

I woke up today feeling better than I did last night. I got up around 7 (though I did try to sleep until 8 but my body hates me) and finished cleaning up the kitchen. For the most part I just relaxed today, did some laundry, and played Aion with Angie.

From this point forward G33K chat will ensue, so if you don’t care then it’s best that you stop reading now. Don’t say you haven’t been warned.

Currently I am leveling a Cleric whom I’m really enjoying. It’s such a different mechanic from WoW in which priests typically stand back and heal when partied and don’t worry too much about damage. This isn’t the case with Aion so it’s a bit more challenging and takes a bit to get used to. I’m still trying to get it down and minus two deaths of Angie’s toon, though if I’m honest, the second doesn’t really count because she was one shoted, I don’t think I’m doing too badly.

The only downside about choosing to play Aion over WoW is that not many people I know are playing Aion and as a result, I think I’m going to get bored when Angie decides to revert back to WoW. Though if I’m honest that’s actually one of the downsides of WoW– that most people I know play and as a result, not many are willing to start alts and re-level another toon. Even still I am enjoying it now and hopefully I’ll be able to find a Legion that I mesh with. /end G33K speak

Tonight’s True Blood was awesome. I won’t go into details because again I realize not everyone is as cool as me and can watch it the day of—but I love the character development that is going on with Eric. It’s so refreshing to see them delve into his pass.

And on that note, I’m going to go finishing re-reading the series.

I’M gonna play when I get out there!! I stopped having the time and desire (mostly because Rick would be like “you’re playing that AGAIN?” but then plop down in front of his 360 to play Fable II, Dragon Age, Dynasty Warriors, etc. etc. etc.)

So don’t lose interest before I can get settled and get my PC to allow me to play! =P

I keep telling you to make a char in WoW on Draka and Id be more than happy to roll a new char with you =P Only nights I couldnt are Mon, Weds and Thurs when Mike and I raid starting at 10pm our time till 1am.

I have an 80 priest now in WoW that is up there with my main as my favorite class to play. Whenever Im in heroics anymore, all I do is damage and burst out a heal when necessary since we are incredibly over geared till Cata comes out. But healing on a priest is SO much fun. Just gotta get up to the higher levels to really experience the fun with the class.

But in case you stick with Aion, good luck! I hope you find some fun people to play with too Unfortunately Aion just didnt feel the WoW need within me lolol.

LMAO And the first time I died could have been avoided if I was paying attention and put my shield up. Woops. :X

It’s been fun playing with you though! And I’m going to stick with it as long as I can but I know I will go back to WoW when Cata comes out at least for a while. However, I am completely ADD when it comes to games so I’ll probably come back to Aion shortly thereafter.

That’s not for a few months though and I’m really enjoying Aion right now! We definitely need more people to play though so we can group up, form our own Legion or whatever.

My sister will be on as soon as she gets it downloaded/installed and Kristin said hers finished so she’ll be playing soon too!

@Shawna: Eh, I don’t like leveling a priest in WoW. It’s boring and takes too damn long, lol. I don’t have the patience for it.

As for WoW, honestly? I just can’t get into it and you know I’m Ally all the way, lol. I will probably play a bit when Cata comes out but the only reason I’m considering it is because the world is going to be completely changed and their splitting the Barrens, etc, etc. Otherwise I’d have no interest, lol.

@Angie: Haha, oops! ROFL. I will probably play WoW when Cata comes out too, just for a bit. I don’t think I’ll stick with it because it does get boring and part of the allure of Aion is that you can hit some of the same buttons and do different things because of the chain skills. I hated WoW and no variation, it was just cycle after cycle mashing the same buttons.

I guess I’m weird. ROFL.
