It’s a good thing I stopped playing Sims when I did otherwise I would have missed today’s blog. I’m not sure why I decided I was done playing, but I just felt like I’d been sitting at the computer enough today and it was time for me to call it a night.
Speaking of which, I think I spent the past 3 or so hours playing Sims 3, which is the most I’ve played since I’d purchased the game. The reason it’s taken me so long to actually play the game is because I irritated that I couldn’t get custom content to work due to the new changes EA had made. Thankfully after a lot of googling, several unsuccessful tries, I finally (after what seemed liked forever) got it up and running.
It’s so interesting to see all of the changes made in comparison to the first and second Sims game. It’s also really crazy because it is sooo detailed now and before that wasn’t really the case. Also on another note, I do want to point out that I don’t think the game is really suitable for children. Even with the changes in the names for sex, etc I still think it’s a bit of a stretch for a lot of younger kids. No wonder why so many in the past few generations are getting pregnant so young! Okay, okay so I can’t really blame that on the Sims, but y’all get my drift.
In any event, it is definitely time for me to call it a night. I should have been in bed several hours ago but I got caught up playing the Sims. Finally, how that happens huh? And those who play Sims on a consistent basis know exactly what I’m talking about. G’nite!

Ever since I decided to reactivate my Aion account, this has lead Robby to insist reactivating his WoW account. We ended up using the paid blogging money I had earned to do so and he’s paid probably a total of 5 hours if that since he’s activated it. Want to know how many hours I’ve played? Probably over 100. My raptr account says 52 hours in the past 2 days and given that I activated it on the 18 and have been playing consistently every day, I’m pretty sure I’ve probably broken 100 hours.
Now, don’t get me wrong, it’s nice that he’s not addicted and can do other things, but at the same time it is a bit irritating that he’s only played about 5 hours at most since he activated it on the same day I did. I mean, I get it, he’s tired, he’s busy, so on and so forth, but it’s a bit frustrating to see him activate something and then decide he’s going to go watch a movie when there’s an account sitting there that has hardly been touched.
I know, I know count your blessings and I am, but I’m also a firm believer in bang for your buck and I’m sorry we did not just spend $15 for the month to have him play a total of 20 hours if not less considering the rate he’s going. So right now, he’s playing because I insisted and had to politely remind him that hello, we paid for you to play so effing play. /end rant
Tomorrow is my Friday and I am sooo happy about that too. I feel as if this week as dragged on and I’m not sure why. You’d think given all the game playing I’m doing to pass the time during work, I’d feel like it just flew by, but I think in large part one of the reasons it’s dragged is cause Jenn and I have hardly talked this week :(.
I miss my bestie.

You know it’s kind of funny to discover that there are lawyers for pretty much anything you can think of. Even some of the things you wouldn’t ever think of! For instance, apparently there is a Mesothelioma Lawyer for Mesothelioma. Now, I’m sure you’re all looking at that word thinking, huh? It’s okay, I was too.
Mesothelioma is a rare form of cancer that develops from the protective lining that covers many of the body’s internal organs, the mesothelium. The most common site is the outer lining of the lungs, however it has been known to appear in the heart or pericardium, a sac which surrounds the heart.
It’s kind of overwhelming to think that there is such thing as a Mesothelioma Attorney, however given what people tend to sue for now a days, it’s kind of like why not? Though, you have to admit that it is getting a bit ridiculous.
Nevertheless, if you’re interested in more information feel free to check out more on Mesothelioma Disease. I guess it is true what they say– you learn something new every day and if not something new, maybe something astounding. *shrugs*

Okay so I realize that it’s like way early to plan for Halloween, but honestly I can’t help it! It’s my second favorite holiday and since we weren’t able to have a party last year (lots of pregnant people, lol), I think this year we’re going to have one and really deck out the house. It’s going to be AMAZING.
Plus with Danika here, she can help me plan and think of some awesome ideas for how we want the house to look. And on top of that we can start looking at a Halloween costume for each of us and decide what we want to be!
I know, I’m a dork for getting so excited for a measly holiday, but I can’t help it. It’s just so much fun to be able to dress up and have a ball with some of our close friends. For the most part I think Halloween is probably the only holiday where adults can really let loose and have fun!
Have you thought at all about Halloween? If so what are your plans and what do you think you’ll be? And what is your favorite holiday and why? How do you generally celebrate that holiday?

I can’t say I’ll be very entertaining in this blog, merely because I’m writing this quickly before bed so I can ensure that I have made my daily blog. I’m actually pretty proud of myself for being able to blog each day this month without missing a day, even though there have been nights when I’ve crawled into bed and had to crawl back out, after remembering I had not blogged. It was irritating but I pushed myself nonetheless.
I have been playing lots of Aion lately and I feel bad because I feel as if I am neglecting Jenn which isn’t my intent AT all. I think in large part she believes that if we’re video chatting while I’m playing she’s distracting me which isn’t true AT all and to be honest that’s one of the features I love about my new desktop. Having the capability to play a pretty graphics intensive game and still video chat at the same time.
Tomorrow I am going to look at power supplies with Robby to try and find one that is suitable for her to utilize the graphics card I intend on giving her. Once she gets her brother to install both the video card and power supply, we’ll be good to go and she can join us in the fun. It’s going to be soooo epic and I cannot wait! Speaking of which, I rolled another toon today, lol. I grouped with a Chanter today and saw all the fun spells he had so I decided I wanted one of my own. Least to say I think I have a problem because in one day I hit level 13.
Tomorrow, I am going to work on my Cleric some and then probably switch to my Chanter at night. This weekend I will probably work on leveling my Gladiator. Geeze, I don’t know how I manage to keep up! Haha. Okay, I think that’s enough game talk for tonight. Time to get some sleep so I can be up and alert tomorrow to walk the pups. G’nite!

Robby and I have amazing auto insurance rates. No, seriously, I’m not bragging, it’s true. We pay about $250 every 6 months which equates to $34 a month. What’s even better is that this is for FULL coverage so it really is a steal!
We often get phone calls form different companies offering auto insurance quotes but so for no one has really been able to meet the current rates that we have. The reason we have such awesome rates is because neither of us has ever been in an accident and also because USAA rocks. For the few and privileged that do have USAA, you know exactly what I’m talking about.
I doubt that we will ever change auto insurance companies, but the one advise that I have for those of you who can’t get USAA is to shop around. Don’t just settle because it seems like it’s a good deal because there might be something better. I know that it’s hard, especially given that there are some many companies who are trying to convince you to go with them. Really the only thing you can do is compare rates and keep shopping around and also talk to friends and family members who have different insurance companies. They’ll provide you with a better insight as to which company has better customer service and better rates as well.
Good luck!
