[Sex Toy Review] Flirty G
Aug 2, 2010The contents of this blog are meant for those who ages 18 or older. If you are not 18 or older, I ask that you not proceed any further.
For the most part when it comes to sex toys, I’m not very selective. What I mean to say is that I don’t have a particular interest in particular toys, G-Spot stimulators, clitoris stimulators, etc and for all intents and purposes am open to trying out anything. Luckily for me and thanks to the lovely people at GoodVibes, I was able to try out yet another toy—this time with more specialized area: the G-Spot.
The Flirty G upon first viewing, I’ll admit is a bit scary. The presumption I made when I saw the image was that it was hard plastic (I have this tendency to not actually read the overview of the item) and I’ll admit I cringed a little. Despite that, I thought it would be fun to try another G-Spot vibrator since my last experience was less than stellar.
Usage
When I first received the Flirty G, I was surprised by the material. It was silicone so contrary to what I had thought previously it was very flexible and as such less scary.
I do have to note that inserting the batteries was quite difficult, as no matter how many times I followed the directions, the device just did not work. Finally, Robby had to give it a whirl and had as much trouble as I did but eventually figured it out.
The ease of inserting the toy was a pleasant surprise. There was no issue with angles and we were able to get it at the first go. The nubs on the toy to stimulate the clitoris was a nice addition, however the vibrations were lacking and as such I wasn’t able to achieve an orgasm without stimulation of both my G-Spot and clitoris.
The one thing I would like to note is that the method used (thrusting, rocking, etc) to achieve orgasm is dependent on the individual. Robby first tried just thrusting without actually pulling the toy out and realized that wasn’t working so he discovered the best method for me was to pull the toy out a bit and then thrust upward. So for those who decide to purchase this toy, keep in mind that you will have to do some experimentation to discover what method works best for you.
Lastly, I want to point out that the toy utilizes a push button system for operation. I am never a fan of this system because I do not like to have to cycle through several vibrational settings to turn off my toy, but others may enjoy this feature.
Cleaning
Given that the toy is silicone it attracts hair like the tape and as a result that was a concern during play. Since the toy is waterproof, it was quite easy to cleaning given that I could just submerge it in water without worrying that the toy would be damaged. I stored the toy in my standard stash in a good baggie on its own to avoid any issue with other silicone toys we own.
Summary
All in all, despite the push button and the initial problem with inserting the batteries I was fairly pleased with the toy. I was able to reach an orgasm1, however I would not advise using the toy solely for clitoral stimulation as I found for myself that it wasn’t nearly powerful enough. Though of course that could be different for others!

I know I IMed you this, but this is essentially my go-to vibrator. The only difference is, the silicone part is removable from a wired bullet control thingy from a different company, and it’s pearly (light) pink. I get great results out of mine but that’s most likely due to the vibrating bullet and how I can control it (a dial) best.
