Your Brand: Why It’s Important

Aug 25, 2010
your-brand-why-its-important

Anyone on the internet who has a website knows the importance of branding. Even more importantly is the importance of marketing. It’s not easy thing to do. And it’s definitely not very fun nor inexpensive, depending on how far you want to take your “vision”. Despite all that brand and marketing entails, it is still something that’s important. I mean come on, ask yourself, how do I stand out in a crowd?

Most people don’t know how to answer that. Hell, most people don’t want to answer that, but most people aren’t too concerned about who visits their website, which isn’t as important if you’re just writing to write, but for someone like me—it is important.

Currently I own several different websites, two of which are my most important. The first if obviously TQB and the second is Ecstasy, which I honestly don’t mention often enough. TQB I feel is doing alright with readers and followers and Ecstasy has a great group of people, but since Ecstasy is a message board marketing is important. It’s very important.

It’s so important that I am considering looking into custom shirts and coffee mugs as a means at least promote the boards. I don’t expect that it’s going to turn into something huge, but it is something you know. I mean after all Starbucks had to start somewhere.

I think that people who are very into the boards may buy something. I tend to support what I love :)
