[Sex Toy Review] Spring Vibe

Oct 5, 2010

Disclaimer: This a review of a sex toy.

The contents of this blog are meant for those who ages 18 or older. If you are not 18 or older, I ask that you not proceed any further.

Babeland presented me with the opportunity to review the Spring Vibe and I jumped at the chance! I’ve always wanted to own a vibrator that is rechargeable and I just couldn’t pass up this opportunity.

The Spring Vibe is a silicone based toy1 that is not only rechargeable but also waterproof2. It has four speeds and three different vibrational patterns with a quiet, yet strong motor.

Usage

Spring VibeOnce I received the toy, the first thing I did was plug it in to charge. The Spring Vibe is rechargeable via the new “Click-n-Charge” technology which is a magnetic connection that allows the toy to be completely waterproof. The only issue with this method of charging is that the toy has to be angled in a certain manner to ensure it does not pull apart from the charger.

After the toy was charged, I used the Spring Vibe both in a solo capacity and in couples play. The biggest issue I had with the Spring Vibe was the fact that it was very easy to change the speed on the vibrator during play. The toy utilizes a push button system plus and minus marks which you use to increase the power, decrease it and change the pattern, but do to the slick nature of the Spring Vibe it was very easy to accidentally hit a button and change the speed which interrupted play.

Despite that little hiccup, I really enjoyed the Spring Vibe and was able to climax very easily given the power of the vibrations. The one thing I would suggest against using is lubrication because as I stated the texture of the toy makes things pretty slippery if lube is utilized during play.

Cleaning

Clean up was very easy given the waterproof nature of the Spring Vibe. I simply used soap and water, patted it dry and stored it in a cool damp environment, away from my other silicone based toys.

Summary

All in all, I was very pleased with the Spring Vibe and definitely recommend this to others. The recharging capability is a plus, though I do have to caution that since the toy uses a magnetic based charge it is not uncommon for the charger to unhook from the toy, increasing the time necessary for a full charge. Other than that little issue, it is an excellent toy and definitely worth the money.

  1. My fav!
  2. Even better!
