XBOX Wasn’t For Me– And Then There Was Netflix Streaming

Oct 15, 2010
xbox-wasnt-for-me-and-then-there-was-netflix-streaming

I will be the first to admit that I’ve never been a huge fan of Microsoft’s xbox. I despise the controls and the only game that I’ve ever been successful in playing is Fable and Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Maybe that’s pathetic but it’s true. I was raised as a Playstation girl and as a result the XBOX xbox just never suited me.

However with the introduction of Netflix streaming, I find that I now have a use for it and actually use it quite often. The best part is that I don’t have to use the controller to control it because I have an xbox remote which makes navigation so much easier. The only complaint I have about the Netflix instant queue on the xbox system is that it doesn’t have a search function and as a result you have to go through every single title placed in your queue to find the one you want. I am hoping that they will upgrade the feature soon to make it more user friendly.

In any event now that the xbox has Netflix streaming, I have found more of a use for it and use it much to the duress of Robby when he’s interested in using it when I am. :)
