Robby and I have been into light BDSM for a while now. Recently, Robby and I had the opportunity to review the Bondage Ball carried by Fascinations. We were pretty excited to have the opportunity to review this item, given that it looked as if it could add a lot of fun to the bedroom. While it did have its ups, it also had some flaws that we just couldn’t over look. Despite the disappoint we felt when using the Bondage Ball, it is still a toy I would recommend a couple try because body types play a huge factor and ours’ just didn’t mesh well.

The Bondage Ball is an inflatable ball with handles to help in keeping your position. While the handles did help when we were utilizing the ball, for someone such as myself, it was a bit uncomfortable. I’m a fairly tiny individual and as a result the distance between where the handles were in comparison to the length of my arms, made utilizing the handles much harder than I would have thought.

One of the aspects we did enjoy about the ball is how if contorted to fit the weight of the individual. It shifted easily when in use and there was never that fear of falling off. In addition, it can hold quite a bit of weight without popping. Robby is about 230lbs and if you add that to my 100lbs, that’s 330lbs of weight on the ball and it was successful in keeping its shape while we had our fun.

Usage

Admittedly when I first got the toy, I scratched my head wondering how in the world I was going to use it. After reading the instruction manual and Babeland, I set to work. It was very awkward around my clitoris and was a little painful as well. We had to utilize lubrication to ensure that there was no chaffing or dry rubbing.

I was recently presented by Babeland with the opportunity to review the Climax Pop; a vibrator designed to stimulate the clitoral area of the body. When Eden Fantasys presented me with the opportunity to review the Clone-A-Willy kit, I was ecstatic. Though I have to admit that my excitement paled in comparison to Robby’s. We had always wanted to try the kit and were overjoyed when we were presented the opportunity.

After receiving the kit, the first thing we did was read and study the instructions. Realizing the complexity of the task at hand, we decided that it was best to do a little research and stumbled upon Crissy’s attempt to clone her husband’s willy, which proved unsuccessful the first time around. Paranoid that we would end up making the same mistakes, we decided to purchase an immersion blender as they suggested and also made a point to use a mixing apparatus that was easily pourable. Despite all of these additional precautions, we found that we ended up in the exact same boat as Crissy and Ken—very, very disappointed.

The first thing we noticed about the instructions was the importance of timing. Timing is so important that the Clone-A-Willy manufacturers made a point to reiterate it several times. However, there seemed to be a flaw in their warnings because despite the special care we took to ensure we were well under the timing requirements, the mold solution still ended up solidifying before Robby successfully inserted his penis.

The instructions state that you have precisely two minutes to mix the mold, pour the mold into the plastic container provided, and then stick your penis in the container. Using the immersion blender we were well under two minutes and still ended up with solution that was to solid for insertion. The instructions state to get as much of the mold as you can into the container when you’re pouring the solution in, which we figured ended up being our demise. That “extra” time resulted in just enough time to allow the solution to solidify.

Despite the fact that we were unsuccessful in our attempt, we still had a lot of fun with it. It’s definitely a great couples project and one we definitely recommend. We do plan on purchasing more molding solution and giving it another go, now that we have a much more reasonable chance at success.

Babeland presented me with the opportunity to review the Spring Vibe and I jumped at the chance! I’ve always wanted to own a vibrator that is rechargeable and I just couldn’t pass up this opportunity.

The Spring Vibe is a silicone based toy¹ that is not only rechargeable but also waterproof². It has four speeds and three different vibrational patterns with a quiet, yet strong motor.

Usage

Once I received the toy, the first thing I did was plug it in to charge. The Spring Vibe is rechargeable via the new “Click-n-Charge” technology which is a magnetic connection that allows the toy to be completely waterproof. The only issue with this method of charging is that the toy has to be angled in a certain manner to ensure it does not pull apart from the charger.

After the toy was charged, I used the Spring Vibe both in a solo capacity and in couples play. The biggest issue I had with the Spring Vibe was the fact that it was very easy to change the speed on the vibrator during play. The toy utilizes a push button system plus and minus marks which you use to increase the power, decrease it and change the pattern, but do to the slick nature of the Spring Vibe it was very easy to accidentally hit a button and change the speed which interrupted play.

As you all know I review sex toys and I rather enjoy doing so as well. Recently I was able to work with Fascinations, a great company with a variety of toys that appeal to a very diverse audience. After reviewing their selection, I choose three toys that I was interested in trying and was given the opportunity to try out Evolved’s Amore, which for lack of a better word was HUGE.

Usage

As most everyone knows I’m a very tiny girl¹ but despite that, when it comes to toys and boys, I can actually handle my fair share; however the Amore was quite different from a lot of the toys and boys that I had encountered before. At 8.5” long and 2” wide, for someone like me, it took quite a bit of warming up to really get the full effect of the Amore.

After the initial warm up section², the insertion was quite painless. I do have to recommend that tiny girls utilize a lot of lube; otherwise you might run into a bit of discomfort given the length and girth of the toy. One of the features I really enjoyed when it came to the Amore was the flexibility. It mean that I wasn’t stuck using a toy that seemed at the time a great idea, only to discover that it really did not conform to my body. Upon using the Blueberry Buzz, I will admit that I was very disappointed. Given my size 5’2 around 96lbs, when the toy was used during intercourse I could not feel it. This actually says a lot, given that according to Robby, I am exceptionally—sorry, dad tight when compared to most females.

When the toy was initially inserted I could barely feel it and even when the thrusting began the only reason I realized it was there was because of the vibrations that were moderate to strong. I did enjoy that the toy had a dial control with some resistance to ensure that there would be no issues if lube was involved.

Besides attempting to use the toy during intercourse, I also used it for masturbation with a single goal in mind clitoral stimulation. Cleaning

All in all, the Blueberry Buzz is just not a toy that worked well for me. I felt it lacked in girth and vibrations and since the head was so tiny there was no way to really focus the toy for a true clitoral stimulator.

Despite the issues I have, I would recommend this toy to anyone who is just starting to explore the realm of sex toys. The look of the toy is not intimidating and neither is the mechanics. This past week I had the opportunity to review a steam mop vacuum by Baccus. I have had several experiences with different steam cleaners, however I have never had the opportunity to actually utilize a steam mop vacuum so this was an interesting experience.

For the most part when it comes to sex toys, I’m not very selective. When I first received the Flirty G, I was surprised by the material. It was silicone so contrary to what I had thought previously it was very flexible and as such less scary.

I do have to note that inserting the batteries was quite difficult, as no matter how many times I followed the directions, the device just did not work. Finally, Robby had to give it a whirl and had as much trouble as I did but eventually figured it out.

The ease of inserting the toy was a pleasant surprise. There was no issue with angles and we were able to get it at the first go. The nubs on the toy to stimulate the clitoris was a nice addition, however the vibrations were lacking and as such I wasn’t able to achieve an orgasm without stimulation of both my G-Spot and clitoris.

The one thing I would like to note is that the method used (thrusting, rocking, etc) to achieve orgasm is dependent on the individual. Robby first tried just thrusting without actually pulling the toy out and realized that wasn’t working so he discovered the best method for me was to pull the toy out a bit and then thrust upward. So for those who decide to purchase this toy, keep in mind that you will have to do some experimentation to discover what method works best for you.

Given that the toy is silicone it attracts hair like the tape and as a result that was a concern during play. I wasn’t a fan of the pulsating mode or the on and off again mode, but that’s merely a matter of preference. I did quite enjoy the material of the item which was jelly because it provided a much more realistic feel and that really lent to the entire experience.

Cleaning

The one thing I really loved about the Bend Satisifer is the material. For those who have animals we all know how easily and quickly silicone attracts hair and while the Bendi did have similar issues, it wasn’t nearly as bad as silicone which I really enjoyed. Cleaning the Bendi Satisifer was quite easy given that it’s waterproof. I simply dunked it in water, patted it dry and stored it in a cool area with my other toys, taking care to keep it in its original packaging, given the material– because where jelly and silicone are concerned, you can never be too careful!

Summary

The Bendi Satisifer is an amazing toy and I would HIGHLY recommend it to anyone who has issues finding rabbit vibrators that work for them. The flexibility of the material makes it, in my opinion, one of the best toys on the market. In fact I’d even go as far to say it’s my favorite toy. When I had originally seen the Bcute Pearl on Eden Fantasys, the first thing that came to my mind was, “Oh, how cute!” It was so classy compared to most toys I’d seen and I simply had to have it. After trying the toy, now looking back, I wish I’d chosen something else—here’s why:

Usage

The toy itself came in a very cute package, though it was quite difficult to open and as a result I ended up with a nice deep paper—uh cardboard cut to show for it. After I was finally able to pull the item out of the box, I loved the display and the fact that it came with a cute little storage bag. Most of the toys I had received thus far, were all packaging with nothing extra so this was a plus in my book.

My first use of the Pearl consisted of solo play. The toy itself is multi-speed and waterproof with a dial to control the speed. It is made of silicone which was a plus in my book because I prefer a realistic feel to my toys. The first thing I did was try out all the different speeds on the Pearl which if I’m honest had very little power—even at the highest speed which was a HUGE disappointment for me. On top of that the dial control was very slippery, without the use of lube (I can only imagine how it would be with lube) and I find that a lot of times, the dial would spin on its own, and as a result the vibrations would vary considerably. Given the style of the toy, it was very hard to found another grip that did not consist of interacting with the dial and there wasn’t enough resistance in the dial to avoid accidentally moving the dial during play. The texture was nice and I enjoyed the realism of the toy, however it took me about 25-30 minutes to reach an orgasm on the highest speed which for me was much more work than it was worth¹.

After my fun(?) with it on its own, I figured that maybe it would be better as a couples toy. I was wrong. In fact, for the most part I could barely feel the toy when Robby introduced it into the equation, even with the attempt at G-Spot stimulation. Eventually he ended up tossing the toy to the side and finished the job for me.

Given the disappointment faced at two different attempts of play, we didn’t even bother to utilize the waterproof functionality of the toy because we didn’t really expect much in that department.

Cleaning & Storage

Given the waterproof nature of the toy, it is fairly easy to clean, however since it is a silicone toy, I would avoid silicone based cleaners butr warm water works well. The accompanying storage bag ensures protection against any other silicone based toys you may have stored in your toy drawer so as long as you utilize the bag, you’ll be fine in the silicone on silicone department.

Summary

As much as I’d like to praise the Bcute Pearl, the truth of the matter is, I can’t. The only aspect it has going for it, is its classy design as upon a first glance, you wouldn’t necessarily think it’s a sex toy. Overall, for me it was a disappointment due to the poor design and lack of vibrational power, however for someone just exploring the world of sex toys, it might but your cup of tea, though it clearly wasn’t mine.

After my first sex toy review on the Bunnygizer, shortly after I received an invitation to review Doc Johnson’s Harmony Divine carried by Eden Fantasys which is sold for $49.99.

Now my initial impression upon seeing the Harmony Divine was that it would be small. It is classified as a G-Spot vibrator so I figured it couldn’t be that big and silly me didn’t actually bother to check the actual size/measurements. Imagine my surprise when this little beauty came in and it was by all definitions HUGE. Okay, maybe not huge, but that was my reaction and also Jenn’s reaction too (we were video chatting). Despite my reservations about the size, I sucked it up and got down to business—well at least we tried.

Usage

The first notable aspect of the Harmony Divine, other than its size, is the material. It’s made with Plastic, which same may not prefer due to the hardness and inflexibility of the material; however when it comes to safety can be rated quite high. We originally attempted to use the toy in couple play, but discovered that given the angle of the toy and the width that just wasn’t feasible even with all the lube used. Due to the angle of the toy and its inflexibility the insertion of the toy just made me feel uncomfortable. We tried angling the toy in different positions but even despite that, I felt as if the toy was trying to climb into my stomach which to say the least did not do much for the mood, though we still managed to have fun anyway.

In order to give a fair review, I also used the toy on my own and found that for masturbation and solo play it worked well. The head was still too big for me, but the angle of the toy was more manageable given that there was really only one way to insert the toy and as a result did manage to stimulate my G-Spot.

One of the aspects I enjoyed most about Harmony Divine was that it has 3 different vibration speeds: low, medium, and high, and each speed had a lot of power behind it, which often isn’t the case. The one criticism I had in relation to the speed is the nose. Even on the lowest speed, the Harmony Divine was quite loud thus I would recommend against using it if you’re attempting to be discreet.

One of the great features of the Harmony Divine was that the specific angle is perfect for not only for G-spot stimulation but also for clitoral stimulation. Coupled with the angle of the toy and the fact that the vibrations are concentrated towards the head and tip of the toy, it really packs a punch and your girly bits will be more than pleased by what it has to offer. However, despite that happiness experience by my girly bits, when it comes to vibration and speed, I do have to note that I wasn’t a huge fan of the push button system to change between speeds because it meant having to cycle through each speed to if you wanted to go from medium to low and so on and so forth. While this didn’t bother me much because I enjoy a punch in my vibration and stayed on the highest speed this could be a problem for those who don’t need as much rev behind their vibrations.

Cleaning & Storage

Another great thing about the Harmony Divine is the fact that it’s waterproof. This particular aspect allows for more options when it comes to cleaning as it allows you to immerse the toy in water. In addition, the material allows the use of alcohol and is very easy to clean as well. I simply dosed it in water, wiped it and then stored it with the rest of my toys.

Summary

Despite the inability to really utilize the toy for couples play, I did quite enjoy it for solo action. The head of the toy was a bit too big for me however it still served its purpose in G-Spot and clitoral stimulation and I would definitely recommend this to others who don’t mind the feel of plastic. The vibration was enough to push me to an orgasm and the waterproof nature of the toy allows you to explore all avenues of play which gives it a A in my book!

When I originally saw Jenn‘s tweet about bloggers who weren’t shy about sex, sex toys, and masturbation I was pretty excited. I mean, come on who doesn’t want to talk about sex? Oh wait, that’s right– not many people are as open about me regarding that topic, but I digress. In any event after e-mailing back and forth with Jenn, she was able to set me up and I finally selected a toy that I wanted to try out. It was quite a difficult choice, given all of the prospects, but after careful consideration (and I mean careful– Robby helped me pick) I give you… THE BUNNYGIZER!

My initial impression when I got the package was fear. It was a pretty big package (Jenn can attest– we were video chatting when it came) but I swallowed my fear and extracted what I thought was going to be a monstrous toy. Admittedly, it wasn’t nearly as big as I thought, but rather then feel disappointment, instead I felt relief (come on ladies, big is good, but too big makes you want to curl up in a bawl in cry, amiright?). In any event, I proceeded to open the package and assemble it (put the batteries in). Now the first flaw I noticed was the battery compartment. It slid up and down and opened way to easily. While I had not yet tried the toy, I had a feeling it was going to be an issue and I was right.

Usage

We tested the toy out as a means to get us started (what can I say, I can go for hours!). Robby began by inserting the toy into my vagina and then using the rabbit ears to stimulate my clit. He started with the first level of vibration which was a nice steady hum. I did enjoy it, however I felt that it lacked the power in vibrations needed to really do the job. He then switched to the second level of vibration which had a lot more power. This was nice, but it was a bit too much, even for me and I enjoy a lot of power when it comes to vibration. The third level vibration varied from fast to slow, and I felt it was lacking, as the slow speed was far to slow and the fast speed did not last nearly long enough. All in all the ears for me were a disappointment as the altering choices either had too little vibration or too much.

After rabbit ear play, he begin to focus more on the shaft of the item. The first thing I noticed was that the insertable shaft, which was about 4″ wasn’t nearly enough. While I enjoyed the material as it didn’t have that “plastic” feel that a lot of vibrators have, I still felt that the length left a lot to be desired. In addition to that it had 3 levels of vibration, low, medium, and high. The low speed was barely noticeable. And while the spinning action and beads were a nice touch, even on the medium and high levels, there wasn’t really enough power within the vibration itself. Even given the lack of vibrational power from the shaft, combined with the rabbit ears on a low level of vibration, I was able to achieve an orgasm– though admittedly it too much longer than either of us would have liked.

Despite the lack of power behind the vibration of the Bunnygizer, it is by no means a quiet toy. So if you intend on getting your groove on discreetly, I would advise that you pick another toy.

Lastly, the battery compartment was quite bothersome for Robby. He stated that he had to ensure his grip was just right around the compartment to ensure that the cover would not slide down. Other than that aspect, he liked that the base was quite solid, which made grip and control much easier and allowed him to direct how and where he wanted to stimulate me.

Cleaning & Storage

Given the problems with the battery compartment and the lid staying shut, I would definitely recommend against immersing the Bunnygizer in any water. Instead, I used a damp cloth soaked in alcohol and water. I would advise to ensure that you clean not only the head but also the ribbing around the insertable shaft given the crevices around that particular area. Once you’ve completed the cleaning, pat it dry and store the item in a cool, dry location.

Summary

The Bunnygizer definitely has it’s pluses. One being that it doesn’t feel like a lot of the “plastic” toys out there and if you’re like me you appreciate that. Despite that benefit and while I was able to achieve orgasm with it’s use, I ultimately felt that it lacked the necessary rev to suit my needs. Even still it is a great toy which I would recommend for anyone who hates that “plastic” feel– I mean come on, we get enough of that in our yearly pap exams, we definitely don’t need it with our toys.

Before I begin my review, I have to make a note that I have experience with several phones which range from the standard flip phones, to European based phones, to Blackberrys, to iPhones and more. While I understand that everyone looks for different features when considering their phone, I tend to be highly picky with my phones, which almost resulted in my not purchasing the MyTouch to begin with.

Prior to purchasing the MyTouch or HTC Magic, I owned a 2g iPhone which by all accounts was a superior device to any device I had ever owned before. Though I discount the Blackberry as for me the iPhone and Blackberry are two completely different sets of tech and therefore I don’t view them as comparable.

In any event, I had an 2g iPhone jailbroken and unlocked on T-Mobile, which I found was an amazing phone; at least to begin with. I had no complaints whatsoever, the apps were decent, the phone while bulky was easy enough to get used to and it was a fun phone which was an nice change from my Blackberry Curve. The main problem I had with the iPhone was the slowness. This was particularly a problem whenever I was migrating from one screen to another and was evident whenever I went from the home screen to the text messaging screen (or any other screen for that matter), as there tended to be at least 2-3 seconds of a white screen before my messages appeared. Now it is possible I could have just had a crappy version of the phone, however Robby also experienced the same problem, though his seemed to be much worse. In addition it seemed as if the more applications you downloaded the slower the iPhone would become and I didn’t have very many applications, at least not compared to those around me who had iPhones.

I will say that the first time I tried the MyTouch which happened to be a few weeks ago when we were visiting San Diego, I was far from impressed. The screen was a lot smaller then my iPhone which was a turn off, I didn’t really like the controls on the phone (though now I love them) and I think I spent about 5 minutes, though if I’m honest with myself less, looking at the phone before deciding I wasn’t interested and moved on.

The reason I ended up purchasing a MyTouch was because of Robby and I’s decision to switch to a non-contracted plan with T-Mobile as it would have saved us a bit of money. Rather than being forced to shell out $400 for the phone we both decided we’d just do a partial upgrade, stay in our contract for another year and then migrate to the non-contract plan. After discussing this with him I spoke with Danika and told her I was considering getting the MyTouch and she told me everyone she worked with loved their’s, so I figured I should probably give it another and more reasonable shot. I did a bit of research on the web, read up on the phone and the reviews, and then Robby and I took a much better look at the phones.

One of the first things I noticed about the MyTouch is that it seems to be more application friendly both in how many it can handle (as you recall that was one of my biggest gripes about the iPhone) and also what the Android Market has to offer. Given that Apple had announced the removal of 5,000 applications from their app store due to explicit content (such as girls in bikinis) it only proved further that my decision to purchase the MyTouch was a well made one. The open source of the Android OS has great appeal to several individuals, including those like I who are far from being developers mostly because it gives us options. I don’t know call me an anarchist, but I never liked being told what I could and could not purchase or view for that matter. Then again, when I searched porn, sex, or adult on the Android market and get a list of various applications, I’ll be the first to admit, it completely made my day. And yes, if you have not yet deduced from my prior blog posts, I am somewhat of a freak, but that’s another story.

Moving on…

When you get down to comparatively assessing the specs of the iPhone and the MyTouch here is what you’ll find:

Looking at the phones comparatively there are obviously some good and bad aspects about both, however depending on what features you want, one phone is obviously going to suit you better over the other. For myself personally, while I did enjoy having the iPhone and was a little hesitant to switch to the MyTouch as the screen was significantly smaller than what I was used to (though after reviewing the charts, not as small as I had suspected), the MyTouch was the better choice. Why? Not only is the MyTouch faster (at least compared to the iPhone I had), but it also gives you the option to allow applications to run in the background which was one of the biggest issue I had with my iPhone. I understand the reason behind not allowing applications to run in the background but I didn’t understand why I wasn’t given a choice to allow an application to run or not.

For instance, I am a frequent twitter user and felt that a twitter application on the iPhone was pretty pointless because it required me to access the application to view updates. The MyTouch however allowed me to set the application to run in the background so that I am able to receive notifications every 60 minutes (that’s the interval I have it set to) without having to access the application. For me this is BIG (can you tell I’m a Twitter addict?), however for others, this may not be such a great feature. In addition, while I haven’t tested YouTube on the 3G network, though Robby says it’s great, I have tested the feature using Wi-Fi and it works well. This wasn’t always the case for the iPhone. Often times the buffer would stop randomly and the video would not resume playing. I found this to be a bit frustrating and as a result hardly ever utilized this feature.

The next aspect I’d like to touch on are the keyboards. I will admit that the iPhone has the superior keyboard as I found the Android keyboard to be a bit small and had problems using it (this coming from someone with very small fingers) however, it appears Google realized that with this version of the phone and rolled out a new keyboard called Swype. Swype provides a faster and easier way to input text on any screen as you use one continuous finger or stylus motion across the screen keyboard therefore making your entries more efficient and accurate. Swype is very intuitive and allows you to add words that you use often (names or usernames for instance) in its vast dictionary, which I found to be a convenient and handy feature. I won’t deceive you and say I loved Swype when I first tried it because in all honesty I hated it, but that was an account of not knowing how to operate it. After viewing the tutorial, I understood exactly how to use it and have not had any difficulties operating it since then. For those of you who miss being able to type with one finger on a standard phone (especially while driving) but love qwerty keyboards, then Swype is the alternative that you’ve been looking for and I highly recommend it.

All in all, I’m quite pleased with my decision to move to the MyTouch, even given that a lot of people would view my change in phones as a downgrade; but to be honest and to answer my question on whether the MyTouch is a worthy iPhone opponent; I wouldn’t necessarily consider them opponents, rather that the devices differ from each other considerably and therefore are appropriate for you, depending on what your needs are when it comes to your cellphone.
